Starting July 13, 2025, the U.S. Postal Service is rolling out new rate adjustments and promotional offers that span multiple mail categories. Some updates are easy to follow, but others are more detailed and may impact you differently depending on how your mail is sorted and prepared. Here’s a quick summary to help you stay informed.
The Updated Pricing Structure
USPS has three levels of pricing: class-level, product-level, and presort-level. So far, updates have only been released for class- and product-level pricing. Presort-level pricing depends on specific mailing files and configurations, so those details remain unclear at this time.
Marketing Mail Highlights
Although presort-level pricing is still pending, early indicators show that some presort tiers may experience an increase of up to 11.64%. For Marketing Mail Flats, rate hikes could range from 13% to 18%, though discounts will be available for select container types.
